Heidi Chung OT

Heidi Chung, OT
Heidi has been an OT for over a decade, beginning her career in an outpatient pediatric clinic working primarily with children living with cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, and congenital syndromes resulting in developmental delays. There, she also provided services in Early Intervention and aquatic therapy. Her interests and dedicated continuing education centered on Neurodevelopmental Treatment strategies. Heidi has also worked for the leading rehabilitation center in the nation, Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, offering Day Rehab OT services to patients who experienced spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and cancer. Currently, Heidi applies her robust clinical skills to an elementary school setting, working part-time with students requiring special education in a public school. When she’s not working, you can find Heidi baking/dancing/reading/playing in the backyard with her two young kids, going on family bike rides, singing for church, crafting, or exercising. She loves yoga, rock climbing, pilates, and has recently completed her instructor training to teach pilates reformer classes. Heidi values building strong relationships with her clients and does so by leading with compassion and joy- striving to make her sessions feel more like play and less like work.
