Erin Walta MS, CCC-SLP:
Erin Walta is a licensed speech-language pathologist whose passion for communication disorders began when volunteering at an auditory-oral school for children who are Deaf or hard-of-hearing. She utilizes and integrates multi-sensory therapy approaches for the pediatric population and believes in a wholesome approach by collaborating with multiple disciplines to ensure child development and progress. Erin specializes in treating oral-motor based speech disorders, early language development, play-based therapy approach, gestalt language processing, and augmentative-alternative communication (PECS, speech-generating devices, basic American Sign Language, etc.). Growth is enhanced by the quality of interactions and connections children have with their support system. Erin prioritizes meeting the child where they are developmentally and building upon their foundational skills. One of her favorite things about being a speech-language pathologist is watching a child’s personality grow and shine through as their speech and language skills expand. In her free time, Erin loves to travel, go to concerts, garden, and spend time with her family and friends!
